Borel Fashion

We are very lucky to meet some oustanding creative talent over the past three years, since we started providing our video and photo services. One of our most recent ventures veered towards more creative fashion videos and photography, with the amazing people behind the San Francisco based House of Borel.

They approached us at the end of 2015 to start working on their new video for the website relaunch. With an amazing team of other creatives, styling by Charlotte Welch, creative direction by Natalie Crane, hair and makeup by the oustanding David Reposar, and original music scoring by Tommy Sunderland.

Check the video out through our YouTube channel, or visit the website to see it in its natural habitat. For more information on the music, please visit

And as usual, send us a message. Say hi. We love hearing from everyone.

Zazzle and Rickshaw Bagworks

We are proud to share with you the latest work we've done for our amazing clients at Zazzle. It was all part of their major re-launch for the new website redesign, and our video is being featured on their new page:

Sutro Studios did all the video work, from filming, lighting, sound, editing and grading. It was all filmed on location at Rickshaw Bagworks over two days, using lights from LitePanels and ARRI, a Sony FS700 camera, sliders, lenses, and a great bunch of other gear and equipment.

Everything was edited in Final Cut and graded in DaVinci Resolve. We'll do a blog post on the details for the video, but for now, sit back and enjoy these 3 mins or so of storytelling.

We loved working with Zazzle and Rickshaw, and can't wait for future opportunities for collaboration.

Making three videos for the same clients at Zazzle and Rickshaw: one around 4 mins long, one around 1 min long and another around 30 seconds long. It's fascinating the different challenges the time constraints provide to still create something engaging, compelling and grabbing while still telling a solid story from beginning to end.

It's all in the little details and we love it. Here's a screen grab from one of them. We'll be writing an extensive blog post with behind-the-scens and everything explained of what we've done once the videos are released. It's been amazing working with these clients!

We had an amazing film shoot last week with the guys from Rickshaw and Zazzle. We shot several interviews and filmed a ton of b-roll showcasing the details and their process of creating one of the highest-quality bags you can get in San Francisco. All local. All made there. In the store, which is also their factory. Incredible people, with an insane passion for what they do and for making people happy, creating stories with each bag. We're creating their story. We filmed their story. And we'll be showcasing a detailed behind-the-scenes soon, but for now check out these photos from our Instagram feed in case you haven't seen them. Stay tuned for more details soon.
