Haiti/Rise2Shine Episode 02 - Update

We're almost ready to publish the second episode of our Haiti/Rise2Shine web series, which you can follow on our main Haiti page here, but we couldn't stop ourselves from sharing a still frame from this new video.

We loved this little girl. We were visiting her "home" at the base of the mountains close to Fonds Parisien, an hour away from Port-au-Prince.

She is one of the children enrolled by Rise2Shine at their pre-school, and one of the poorest kids in that community.

One of the children from Rise2Shine.

Rise2Shine

We have been working incredibly hard over the past month or so with the non-profit Rise2Shine. We were approached by them a while back about helping them create a video that showed their outstanding efforts to improve lives for children and families in Haiti. As soon as we did research on their work, and saw all the footage we could work with, we just had to say yes. We were so touched by the amazing things they are creating every day in Haiti, to help some of the most impoverished people on the planet, from providing health care, education and food. We knew we could create something powerful. If you haven't seen the video, the full film is about eight minutes long.

You can see it here. Make sure you check out the rest of our film work through these pages. We're working on some more exciting things to come soon.
