Zazzle Review

We just got some great client feedback from Jeremy Britton at Zazzle, Director of Creative Design.

We loved working with Zazzle several months ago on a video project with their clients Rickshaw Bagworks in San Francisco. The video was tremendously successful, and is available to be seen on our Portfolio page.

In the meantime, here's what Zazzle had to say about our work.

Before we even began, Afonso challenged my assumptions for our video project, then carefully worked with me to reshape my expectations for it. That thinking provided the bedrock for a concise, emotionally compelling, and honest video with Rickshaw Bagworks that became the exemplar for all other productions that came after it.

Zazzle and Rickshaw Bagworks

We are proud to share with you the latest work we've done for our amazing clients at Zazzle. It was all part of their major re-launch for the new website redesign, and our video is being featured on their new page:

Sutro Studios did all the video work, from filming, lighting, sound, editing and grading. It was all filmed on location at Rickshaw Bagworks over two days, using lights from LitePanels and ARRI, a Sony FS700 camera, sliders, lenses, and a great bunch of other gear and equipment.

Everything was edited in Final Cut and graded in DaVinci Resolve. We'll do a blog post on the details for the video, but for now, sit back and enjoy these 3 mins or so of storytelling.

We loved working with Zazzle and Rickshaw, and can't wait for future opportunities for collaboration.

Making three videos for the same clients at Zazzle and Rickshaw: one around 4 mins long, one around 1 min long and another around 30 seconds long. It's fascinating the different challenges the time constraints provide to still create something engaging, compelling and grabbing while still telling a solid story from beginning to end.

It's all in the little details and we love it. Here's a screen grab from one of them. We'll be writing an extensive blog post with behind-the-scens and everything explained of what we've done once the videos are released. It's been amazing working with these clients!

We had an amazing film shoot last week with the guys from Rickshaw and Zazzle. We shot several interviews and filmed a ton of b-roll showcasing the details and their process of creating one of the highest-quality bags you can get in San Francisco. All local. All made there. In the store, which is also their factory. Incredible people, with an insane passion for what they do and for making people happy, creating stories with each bag. We're creating their story. We filmed their story. And we'll be showcasing a detailed behind-the-scenes soon, but for now check out these photos from our Instagram feed in case you haven't seen them. Stay tuned for more details soon.
